Practical Nurse

Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting
healthcare professionals in ensuring the well-being of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide essential patient care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• The administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
• Observe and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
• Support patients with feeding and ensure nutritional needs are met
• Assist nurses and other medical staff with clinical procedures and daily tasks
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Assist in rehabilitation exercises and therapy sessions as required
• Educate patients and their families on health, hygiene, and self-care practices
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary

Requirements:

• Category B driving license
• Certified Practical Nurse (or equivalent qualification)
• Previous experience in healthcare or elderly care is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
